There are many dropshipping courses out there—you can get them from Shopify and Oberlo. Some have acceptable prices, and some are ridiculously high.

But this is the problem I see all too often: these courses are not built by dropshippers. 

Pretty much, they are like teachers who teach you theoretical fundamentals, but they do not practice what they preach.

It is a course for both beginners and experts. 

Franklin Hatchett guides aspiring entrepreneurs by providing step-by-step processes from the start until the end of the dropshipping journey. 

If you take the eCom Elites dropshipping course, you will learn how to:

  • Build a Shopify dropshipping store
  • Optimize your website store (SEO)

Let’s talk about the course creator, Franklin Hatchett.

Hatchett is an online marketing expert and an entrepreneur himself. This is why he is credible—he walks the talk, and this guy knows his shit. 

His center of interest mostly revolves around dropshipping and affiliate marketing. As I mentioned earlier, he is also the creator of Savage Affiliates—a comprehensive course about Affiliate Marketing.

Is Franklin Hatchett a scammer? 


Take it from me. I took both his courses. He is not the kind of person who will upsell you stiff. 

Pay for a course, and learn all the things that were promised. 

The exceptional quality that people see in Franklin Hatchett is that his teachings are based on his own experience. 

He only creates courses in the fields that he succeeded in. This makes his courses realistic and relatable, especially for beginners.

He was even awarded as a top seller by ClickFunnels, a premier sales funnel builder in the industry.

His teaching style is highly energetic, comprehensive, straight to the point, and easy to understand. 

He has tons of videos on YouTube if you want to see his teaching method. 

Aside from creating courses, he is also the one behind the eCom Turbo Theme in Shopify. 

This theme was built with speed and customer experience in mind. With this theme, you no longer have to buy many apps that you would typically pay for in your Shopify store.  

As far as being a content creator on YouTube, he currently has 323,000 subscribers and has posted 319 videos about work from home, and how others can also practice the techniques that he uses. 

If you watch his videos, you will also notice that the advertisements in the video are also his, another technique that he is teaching—how to follow people with your ads. 

What is Dropshipping?

Now, let’s move on to the course’s topic — dropshipping.

Dropshipping is a retail business model. 

In retail, you pay for your inventory, and then you keep that on your warehouse. 

Then, you sell the product for a price higher than what you paid for. The difference is profit. 

In dropshipping, the process is the same, with one big difference. 

In dropshipping, you only need to buy the item from the supplier once the customer already ordered from you. 

In a nutshell, here is how it goes:

  • You choose a niche
  • You choose suppliers
  • You build an online store
  • You display the supplier’s products in your store (at a higher price)
  • Customer buys the item from you
  • You order the product from your supplier
  • The supplier ships the item to your customer

Yes, you heard that right. It is the supplier who will ship the items to your customer, not you. You will never hold the product that you are selling. 

It sounds easy, and it is easy.

The process of marketing your store and making a sale is what is difficult.

There are many dropshippers who failed. 

Let that sink in.

A dropshipping store is easy to build. You can build and finish one in one day. 

But marketing and having an acceptable conversion rate is the problem. 

And this is where the eCom Elites dropshipping course comes in.


I advise you not to create the store while watching the videos. I want you to complete the course before building your dropshipping store.

The eCom Elites dropshipping course consists of more than just tips and tricks about dropshipping. Hatchett made the course in such a way that you will come back to it again and again.

It is like a manual but in video form.

Aside from the weekly videos, Franklin also provides support to the community by listening to their requests and concerns. He then makes new videos about these concerns and publishes them on the course platform.

I advise you not to create the store while watching the videos. I want you to complete the course before building your dropshipping store.

Module 1: Creating Your Shopify Store

Shopify is an e-commerce platform. You can build a website where you can sell your goods. 

This platform allows you to manage, sell, import, and ship your products. Shopify is an all-in-one platform. By the time you have built a store, it is a fully functional website where you can display products and charge money.

Shopify is what the first module of the eCom Elites dropshipping course will talk about.

This will save beginner entrepreneurs the unnecessary time spent on experimenting, trial and error, and testing. 

The aim of this module is to introduce a simple and easy way of building a store from scratch.

In order, below are the main points that you will learn in Module 1:

  • Determining store type
  • Setting up Shopify
  • Deciding what Shopify theme to use
  • How to add products to your products list
  • How to create a checkout page
  • Adding the regions available for shipping
  • How to reduce, or totally prevent cart abandonment

1. Determining store type

Before creating your store, you first have to know what type you are going to build. 

Basically, there are two main types: a niche store and a general store.

A niche store specializes in one category of products—for example, a store dedicated to sportswear and sports equipment.

A general store, on the other hand, is a store that sells a lot. For example, a clothing store that does not specialize in anything—like a woman’s clothing store. 

By the end of this course module, you should be able to decide what store to build. 

Personally, I suggest a niche store, especially so if you are new to the dropshipping business. It is easier to manage, and it is easier to find a target market. 

2. Setting up Shopify

The course will guide you on the process and requirements needed in setting up your Shopify store. 

In this course, you will learn how to build your Shopify store from start to finish. 

Let us take a look at the module content:

3. Deciding what Shopify theme to use

There are numerous themes available in Shopify. It may get overwhelming if you do not have enough knowledge about what your store really needs. 

eCom Elites will give you all the necessary details and walk you through various theme selections.

This part of the module also shows you the different parts of the theme, how to install the theme, and how to edit it. 

4. How to add products to your price list

This part of the module teaches you how to add products to your store. On top of that, you will also learn how to write product descriptions that sell. 

You will also get some tips on how to build a product page that improves conversion rate.

5. How to create a checkout page

You will learn how to manage your checkout page—this is the page where the customer inputs his details like credit card information, billing and shipping address. 

6. Creating coupons

Coupon codes are used to generate traffic and generate sales. Shopify has a section where you can create coupon codes.

Once you have generated this coupon code, the system will automatically recognize it. Franklin shows how you can create one and make it active, or how you can offer different discount—by percentage or by price. 

To summarize, Module 1 is specially designed to guide you in making and managing your store without too much hassle and stress. 

This module will also teach you how to use funnels and how helpful they can be to your store if used properly. 

This will serve as your foundation for the other modules to follow.

Module 2: Sourcing Products

A common question that entrepreneurs really find hard to answer is about what kinds of products they will sell. 

Or better yet, how do you make your products sell?

For the second module, Franklin focuses on lessons about products. Specifically, you will learn the following key points:

  • Where to find products
  • How to determine if a product will sell or not
  • Where to find suppliers and how to make sure that they will be a perfect fit
  • How to use competitors to your advantage
  • How to set the price for your products

1. Where to find products

Learn where you can find suppliers that you can trust. Franklin shows different tools that allow you to look for suppliers – those that perform and those that you can trust.  

2. How to determine if a product will sell or not

This is the crux of al dropshippers.

They choose a product that they think has a demand, only to realize that it is a flop. 

In this module, Franklin teaches techniques t chose winning products.

Once you have found these winning products, you will then be led to the process of determining whether it can be a hit or just another product in the customers’ eyes. 

You will learn how to check the marketing statistics. Then, you can decide from there if it will sell or not.

3. Where to find suppliers and how to make sure that they will be a perfect fit

Suppliers are an integral part of a dropshipping business. They will be responsible for both the products and the shipping process.

It is important to know where you can find them. It is also equally important to finding out if you can trust them.

But how? 

Franklin shows in this module what you can do to ensure that you have a trustworthy dropshipping partner. 

4. How to use competitors to your advantage

Initially, you will think that competitors are a big threat to your business.

This is true, but Franklin shows how you can use them to your advantage. 

In this part of the eCom Elites module, you will learn how to keep track of your competition. 

You will also learn how to determine their strengths and weaknesses.

And most importantly, you will learn how you can outsmart, outrank, and outsell your competitors.

5. How to set the price for your products

There is a science behind product pricing. You cannot just buy a product for $5, and then decide that you will put a 20% mark-up on it. 


Franklin teaches you this science, so you do not bankrupt yourself. 

You should price your products in such a way that you are not at a loss after paying your taxes and other business expense. 

Also, you should price your products without looking like you are ripping off customers.

All in all, this module is about products, which is probably the most important component of a store.

After taking Module 2, you can go back to what you learned in Module 1. Then, you can make modifications as you please. 

You can change your niche or add more products that will fit your niche better.

But as I said, I would rather that you finish the entire course first before taking any action.

Module 3: Facebook Traffic

With more than 2 billion users, Facebook is considered as the largest social networking platform. 

This makes it the ideal place to advertise your products and store. 

Module 3 will let you in on the details on how you can efficiently make your store known on Facebook.

The key points are as follows:

  • Ad Account Setup
  • The right model to use
  • How to reach your target market
  • Concept of Facebook Pixel
  • Significance of A/B Testing
  • Facebook bidding
  • How to monitor and analyze your data
  • Importance of Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
  • How to formulate posts

Module 3 will use visual aids to show the lessons that you need to understand. The third module will give full attention to Facebook and how you can use the platform for advertising.

You can expect that by the end of the module, you know how to make an ad account using credit cards and email registrations. 

You can opt for making your own account or a page, but you will reach a wider audience using an advertisement account.

You will also get more in-depth details about how you will pay them.

Furthermore, to fully make the most out of your advertisement, Hatchett will also teach you how to reach your target market despite billions of users. 

This is important to ensure that your products will be seen by potential customers. 

Knowing how to write your posts and what kinds of images and videos you will attach will help, too.

You will also be taught about how you can keep track of the advertisement’s progress by monitoring data and statistical analysis.

Facebook is a critical component of any dropshipping store. This is a platform where you can find your target market because a lot of people use Facebook. 

While it is easy to explore Facebook for advertising, it is not easy to convince people to buy from you. 

This is what you will learn from this module—how to set up your ad account and how to create ads that convert. 

Module 4: Instagram Traffic

Moving on, Module 4’s focal points will revolve around Instagram, which has approximately 1 billion users. 

This is popular to the young side of the market, which will significantly help if your niche is targeting youngsters.

1. How to generate traffic using Instagram

Franklin provides videos about details on how to properly use Instagram. These videos talk about how to attract your target market. 

This includes what to post, how to post, when to post, and what posts attract Instagram followers. 

2. How to find the right influencers

Instagram influencers can also be a big help in reaching a wider audience. 

eCom Elites will teach you where you can find them. You will also learn how you can make sure that they market your product correctly.

You can give them sample products or make a deal with them, and Franklin will teach you all these. 

3. Running advertisements on Instagram

Facebook and Instagram are run by the same company, which makes advertisement placing on both platforms convenient. 

Sometimes, it is not enough to rely on Facebook alone. Module 4 will be your manual for running Instagram ads the right way. 

4. An efficient way to post on Instagram

Unlike Facebook, you can schedule your promotional posts on Instagram. 

This is very convenient as you don’t have to continuously open the application when launching posts. This feature is called automated posts.

You will learn how this is done in this part of the module. 

Module 5: Email Marketing

Module 5 is equipped with more or less than 14 videos tackling about email marketing.

In this module, Franklin Hatchett will recommend services like MailChimp that will help you set up your email campaigns.

An example of this is the number of emails you can send. Franklin will also talk about message types and content value. 

Furthermore, you will also receive training on how you can grow your subscribers’ list.

By the end of this module, you will be ready to launch your email marketing campaign. You will also understand why giving away a lead magnet is important in email marketing.

Moving on to the sixth section of the course, we have the concept of Chatbot Traffic.

Chatbots are becoming very common in business pages, and you may have already seen them. 

This is used to increase interactions with the customers. This is also efficient in answering customer queries immediately.

Franklin will discuss the process of making a chatbot and how you can integrate it with your page. 

This may seem like a mere bot acting like a customer service agent, but in eCom Elites, Franklin will show you how an efficient chatbot can help you convert leads into sales.


Module 7: Funnel Traffic Foundation

For Module 7, eCom Elites will be focusing on sales funnels.

Sales funnels are tools which will guide your customers with a step-by-step procedure from the start of the purchasing process until the end. 

This may be a little bit more complex and costly compared to the others, so this step is recommended to be followed once you are generating enough income.

Module 7 will also discuss the seven main phases in creating your own sales funnel.

Google’s platform when it comes to advertisements is very vast. This will require you to tinker around and explore the platform in order to optimize how your ads will appear to your target market.

This module covers one of the most effective advertisements. It is because a proper Google Advertisement will make your store rank higher in search engines. 

This will also teach you how you can reach a wider audience. And you can do this by making your advertisements appear on YouTube.


Module 9: Organic Google Traffic

The main topic that will be tackled in Module 9 is “search optimization”. 

Using advertisements continuously may generate traffic, but it can soon drain you out financially.

This being stated, this module is all about Organic Google Traffic. 

This refers to generating leads, and possibly sales, without using any advertisements. 

This method will depend largely on your store’s content and how it is optimized.

You will also be taught on the process of searching keywords that are ranked high in order to be more visible.

Module 10: Top Secret

For the last module, Franklin Hatchett will give you access to videos that aren’t posted to the public. 

These videos will contain important information that you can use for your dropshipping business.

This is also where he uploads new videos as part of his updates.

Many courses are sold for $999—what a baloney. Take this course and start your dropshipping business in less than a month. 

eCom Elites does not guarantee anything after the course. Naturally, your business is as only good as your efforts. Franklin is not the kind of guy who promises millions.

Instead, he teaches you how much you can realistically earn from dropshipping—no false promises here.
